Jakob Lilg's cooking is much like his spirit: Young, creative and unconventional, with the unbridled passion of the lion and his home in his heart. At Das Loewenzahn, he has dedicated himself to French cuisine with modern influences, while also giving local classics a surprising new twist. To do this, he relies on first-class ingredients, sourced from the region wherever possible, with which he celebrates pure taste and strong aromas.
Offering gourmet cuisine that is upscale, but not out of touch, is very simple. Masterfully prepared and artfully arranged to please the eye. A considerable range of wines add a perfect finishing touch to that moment of indulgence at Das Loewenzahn. The menu includes white wines, mainly from Austria, and red wines predominantly from Austria, Italy and France.

People don’t come to Das Loewenzahn for stiff etiquette. Because the tone here is as stylish and relaxed as the atmosphere – from pleasure-seeker to pleasure-seeker. The guests and their well-being, of course, take centre-stage. Indeed, the young service team behind Lilly the hostess is happy, friendly and attentive.
All the employees are happy to take the time to offer personal recommendations, boasting an in-depth knowledge of food and drinks. With bespoke recommendations from our charming local staff, we’ll see to it that your visit to Das Loewenzahn is an all-round delightful experience.

Colourful, original and extremely relaxed, this is the ambience that awaits guests at Das Loewenzahn. In the playful interior design, the look of the 70s is paired with a modern edge so that you instantly feel at ease, even a bit spellbound. Warm colours, quirky decorations and cosy vibes set the perfect scene for culinary indulgence on the approximately 40 seats in the restaurant and parlour.
Large windows and glass fronts let in light, air and lakeside joy. From the terrace, the view sweeps freely down onto the water. Here in this family-owned establishment, Jakob and Lilly have realised their vision of a complete gastronomic artwork. Casual down to the last detail, pleasantly natural and refreshing. The same can be said for haute cuisine.
